Structured Learning Curriculum

Just like any classroom learning environment, the keys to successfully teaching students includes structure and planning so our coaches can provide our students with the foundation and systems for success. Our BJJ program follows a structured, monthly curriculum where you will learn a new set of techniques each month and build upon the techniques in each class. This provides students with plenty of opportunities to practice and drill the techniques while learning more variations and transitions of the same moveset to add to their BJJ toolbox.

Shawn Williams has been called “The BJJ Encyclopedia” and has covered the biggest professional BJJ events in the world as the lead commentator for FloGrappling. Through his years of training under Renzo Gracie and continually learning new techniques, Professor Shawn is well versed in teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for mixed martial arts, sport Jiu Jitsu, and self-defense in both gi and nogi styles. He incorporates both classic techniques from the Gracie family as well as “new school techniques” for sport Jiu Jitsu.

You can burn 600 or more calories in one Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class. Our classes include calisthenic exercises for warm-ups, BJJ drilling that involves using your entire body as well as moving your training partner, and live training rounds.
